ROYAL CANIN® Great Dane Adult is designed specifically for Great Danes aged 24 months and over, with all the necessary nutritional needs in mind.
This formula also supports digestive health with the inclusion of highly digestible L.I.P. proteins and specific fibres that limit intestinal fermentation and maintain a good balance of intestinal flora. Great Danes demand a great deal from their joints due to their imposing stature and long growth period. ROYAL CANIN® Great Dane Adult contains an adapted amount of calcium, phosphorus, and other specific nutrients such as EPA & DHA to support healthy joints and strong bones.
Great Danes have high energy needs, typically consisting of approximately 80% muscle mass, which is 50% higher than other dogs in their class. ROYAL CANIN® Great Dane Adult contains adequate energy content to meet these needs without overloading their stomach. To maintain good digestive function, it is important to divide the daily ratio into at least two meals. The kibble size and shape in this formula are tailor-made exclusively for the Great Dane breed, which is highly palatable and encourages chewing before swallowing, reducing the rate of food intake.
