This year-round formula is specifically designed for small to medium parrot species such as conures, lories, quakers, cockatiels, lovebirds, doves, and other similar-sized parrots.

Here are the recommended guidelines for using this formula:

Conversion: It is advisable for all birds, regardless of species, to begin their dietary regimen with the High Potency Formula and remain on it for a minimum of 6 months.

Special Needs: High Potency Formula is beneficial for birds going through molting, struggling with weight issues (whether overweight or underweight), highly active birds, those residing in cold climates, birds recovering from illness, or those impacted by liver or kidney disease.

Weaning Birds: For weaning birds, it's recommended to feed them High Potency Formula for at least 6-9 months.

Breeding Birds: Breeding birds should be provided with High Potency Formula 1-2 months before the breeding period and continue with it until the chicks are fully weaned. Alternatively, they can remain on this formula for at least six months before transitioning to the Adult Lifetime Formula. During this period, you may increase the quantity of supplemental certified organic vegetables and fruits. For every 2 tablespoons (20 g) of formula, add ½ tablespoon (5 g) of certified organic sunflower seeds.

Storage: Harrison's Bird Foods do not contain artificial preservatives. Once a bag of Harrison's is opened, it should be used within 8 weeks to maintain freshness. Storing the food in the fridge or freezer can help preserve its freshness for an extended duration.
