Description
To ensure a successful claw trimming session, it's important to have a calm and still dog. If your dog is new to having their claws trimmed, having another person present to assist in holding your dog may be helpful. Firmly hold your dog's toe to keep it still. Position the guillotine clipper over the very end of the claw and close it to remove that portion.
It's crucial to remember that only the very end of the claw should be removed. Cutting too much of the claw can result in cutting the quick, which is a vein that runs through the claw, causing pain to your dog. For dogs with dark claws where the quick is difficult to see, try looking from underneath the claw for a better view. Regardless of the length of the claws, exercise caution and only trim the very end of the claw. If the claws are long, it is recommended to trim them gradually in small amounts to help the quick recede over time.
Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that this product now features plastic-reduced packaging, as part of our commitment to contribute to environmental sustainability.
