Description

To start grooming, begin with the side of the brush that has pins, and softly brush the hair following the direction of fur growth. The rounded pins provide comfort and effectively remove loose hairs from both the coat and undercoat. It's important not to push the brush into the dog's skin to ensure a pleasant grooming experience. Instead, gently work through any tangles with the brush, avoiding any pulling or tugging on matted fur, as that may require cutting. Once all tangles are resolved, use the bristle side of the brush to smooth the top of the coat.

Remember, if your dog becomes agitated during the grooming session, it's best to pause or end it. Grooming is an opportunity to bond with your dog, so it's essential to introduce them to it gradually, especially if they are new to grooming. Start the grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, ideally after they have exercised. Handle the grooming tools with gentleness, avoiding any harsh tugging on the skin, knots, or mats. Provide plenty of reassurance and support to your dog throughout the grooming process. Initially, keep the grooming sessions brief, gradually increasing their duration as your dog becomes more accustomed to the grooming routine.
