Giant breed dogs typically take between 18 and 24 months to reach their adult weight of 45 kilograms or more. During this time, their nutritional requirements evolve, so we have developed two distinct diets to support their growth: ROYAL CANIN® Giant Puppy, which is recommended for puppies between the ages of 2 and 8 months, and ROYAL CANIN® Giant Junior, which is designed for the period between 8 and 18 to 24 months.

During the intense growth phase of a giant breed puppy, they require sufficient calories and the right nutrients to promote healthy growth. This is a critical time for the development of their bones, muscles, senses, and nervous system. It is also the period when the antibodies passed from their mother's colostrum start to weaken, making optimal protein essential for the development of their immune system.

The kibble in ROYAL CANIN® Giant Puppy is specially designed to suit the extra-large jaw of giant breed puppies, making it easy for them to pick up and chew.
